FlowVolta is a cleantech start-up that is tackling the fundamental challenges of electrochemical systems. FlowVolta is on a mission to accelerate the global transition to a cleaner, more sustainable future by transforming the way we use and deploy electrochemical systems. In world that is rapidly moving towards electrification, FlowVolta envisions to enable the deployment of electrochemical systems that “do the job” at a low cost and with high reliability.

The Role

You will join our design team and help shape the next generation of electrochemical systems. You’ll investigate how manufacturing variations impact system performance and translate insights into smarter, more robust designs.

Key responsibilities include (not limited to):

• Stack and BoP design

• Structural system design

• Prototyping and component/system testing

Your Profile

• BSc or MSc student in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related field)

• Specialization in mechanical or industrial design

• Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor (required)

• Independent, hands-on, and comfortable in a small team

• FEM simulation experience is a plus

Practical Information

• You must be located in the Netherlands for the duration of the internship

• This is an on-site position

• No motivation letter needed, applying shows your interest

• Minimum duration is 5 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days on-site)

• The start date is as soon as possible.
