Internship – Cost modelling for Electrochemical Systems

The Role
You will build cost models for setting up electrolysis projects for clean ammonia, clean methanol and clean hydrocarbons production across multiple geographies. Your work will have real impact from day one. You will :
Conduct thorough literature study and understand the “lay of the land”
Develop and build modular CAPEX/OPEX/LCOX models
Stress test key drivers using scenario & sensitivity analysis
Help prioritise the focus areas the product(s)
You Profile
Master’s student in Energy Systems, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Economics/Finance or similar
Strong quantitative skills and curiosity
Proficiency in Excel (scenario modeling) and/or Python
Familiarity with electrochemistry and value chains (nice to have, not required)
Clear writing skills with academic rigor
Practical Information
You must be located in the Netherlands for the duration of the internship
This is an on-site position
Minimum duration is 3 months on a full time basis
The start date is as soon as possible
